Had a chance to get the gang in the studio for some fun. It’s funny, being a photographer you would think that I would have lots of pictures of my children. But I guess they are like cobbler’s children, they have very few of what their parent’s sell. I am quite confident that when I pull these images out when Jedidiah is older, he will hate me. Isn’t he a handsome boy?

Willing Models
January 4, 2010I enjoyed photographing my family in a rare mood where they allowed me to be more than 1 yard near them with my camera. Patrick needed some head shots for a proposal that a friend is taking to Tyndale Press for his devotionals. maybe the Lord would open that door. On another note, the Laffertys are OFFICIALLY a family in waiting now at Chosen Heritage. They have 4 birthmothers right now. We are eager about the possibilities that may await us this year.
Leave your vote for you favorite pic of patrick in the comments if you have time… and if you have a favorite. He’s so handsome in all of them. We were a little concerned about his strange resemblance to Michael W. Smith in these pictures. Oh well…
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE from the Lafferty Clan!!

Christmas is Coming!
November 9, 2009I sure enjoyed getting these pictures of my children. I love the old-fashioned Christmas tree lights. I found them at Target. I had to shoot very fast because I had complaints from my union models that the lights were too hot. It’s hard to get cooperative models these days.

A Day at the Arboretum
September 27, 2009We went today to the arboretum for the fall festival. We had so much fun. Patrick is in Chicago preaching at Geoff Ziegler’s ordination service. He said it’s 60 degrees there. I had sweat pouring down my face as I was chasing 2 children through the pumpkin patch trying to get them to let me take their picture. Savannah got all dirty and we changed her clothes, just in time for her to pee-pee all over the fresh set. So do we put on muddy, wet clothes or pee-pee clothes. We chose muddy… with no panties. She walked around getting a nice breeze under her tu-tu. A nice gentleman working at the arboretum saw that we were dragging and it was 45 minutes after closing, so he drove us all the way to our van in his golf cart… now that’s service. We all had a great time. Enjoy the pics…
p.s. seamus added his critique of the pictures… he doesn’t like the ones that aren’t the right color of the pumpkins… guess my “legacy look” isn’t for everyone
